Oil on canvas, 20” x 16”
Snowy Pond was inspired by one of my universities where a similar scene was a part of its promotional material. In nearly every city I worked as a city manager, I found a home in teaching at the local university in the Public Affairs/Public Administration programs. This included the University of La Verne (ULV), San Diego State University (SDSU), California Baptist University (CBU), the University of Southern California (USC), and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS).
University work kept me excited about my profession and allowed me to give back to my field by helping to educate graduate students and prepare them for full-time work in local government.
This painting now hangs in the collection of my brother, Tom, in Greer, Arizona.
